What is Ecovadis certification?
Ecovadis certification enables companies to measure their environmental, social and ethical impact according to CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) principles.
What is it?
Ecovadis is a service that evaluates SaaS platforms in terms of corporate social responsibility (CSR). It provides this assessment at the company’s request, and can also assess a company’s business partners.
Certification is awarded in the form of a score out of 100, which determines the level of integration of CSR principles.
The aim?
To help companies structure their CSR approach and make it sustainable.
By obtaining certification, companies that structure their CSR approach commit to an ongoing process of improvement. By identifying areas for improvement, it is easier to draw up an action plan.
At a time when a company’s value is increasingly linked to the environmental impacts of its value chain, obtaining this certification is crucial.

How does it work?
The methodology is based on international CSR standards. It uses the standards of the Global Reporting Initiative, the United Nations Global Compact, ISO 26000, the conventions of the International Labour Organization (ILO), the CERES principles and the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
The certification is based on 21 sustainability criteria divided into four areas:
- Environmental,
- Social,
- Ethical,
- Responsible Purchasing.
These criteria are reviewed every year.
